The latest edition to the UFC 187 card on May 23 in Las Vegas is a lightweight bout as Islam Makhachev will make his UFC debut against fellow UFC newcomer Leo Kuntz on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was recently added to the official fight card on the UFC website.
UFC 187 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 23 and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Anthony Johnson.
Makhachev (11-0) is from Dagestan and seven of his wins have come by stoppage. His most recent win came in September as he defeated Ivica Truscek by triangle choke submission. Kuntz (17-1-1) was signed by the UFC last year and this is schedule to be his octagon debut. Twelve of his wins have come by stoppage, with seven of them coming by TKO/KO.
