The scheduled featherweight bout between Jimy Hettes and Diego Brandao that was initially scheduled to take place last month has a new date as they will now meet at UFC on FOX 15 in April.
The new date for the 145 pound bout was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC on FOX 15 will come from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on April 18 and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Lyoto Machida meets Luke Rockhold.
Hettes and Brandao were scheduled to face each other at UFC 183 in Las Vegas last month, but the fight was canceled prior to the event starting when Hettes fainted backstage.
Brandao (18-10) has dropped back to back fights after winning three in a row. His most recent defeat came in the main event of UFC Fight Night 46 as he was stopped in the first round by Conor McGregor. Hettes (11-2) made his UFC debut in 2011 and won his first two fights in the promotion. Since then, he has dropped two of three and he will enter this fight following a TKO defeat to Dennis Bermudez earlier this year.
