World Series of Fighting 18 took place this past Thursday night at Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on NBCSN and was headlined by Marlon Moraes retaining the bantamweight title with a decision victory over Josh Hill.
According to Nielsen sources, the preliminary overnight ratings for the World Series of Fighting 18 event reached 209,000 total viewers and this is the second straight event to come in with over 200,000 viewers.
Last month’s World Series of Fighting 17 card came in with 222,000 viewers and it should be noted that fight card aired on a Saturday night. Some of the top cable programs from Thursday night that the fight card went up against included NBA Basketball on TNT and WWE Smackdown on SyFy.
With the viewership from Thursday, the average viewership for a World Series of Fighting fight card on NBCSN is now at 202,000 viewers.
