The medical suspensions for Bellator 134 have been released by the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation and Cheick Kongo has been indefinitely suspended due to a rib injury.
Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation Director Mike Mazzulli released the suspensions to The MMA Report after they were requested.
Bellator 134 took place this past Friday evening at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and was headlined by Liam McGeary winning the light heavyweight title with a decision win against Emanuel Newton.
The complete Bellator 134 medical suspensions are below:
- Cheick Kongo: Indefinite suspension (rib) and must be cleared by a doctor.
- Andre Santos: Suspended 45 days (laceration) and 60 days (concussion).
- Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou: Suspended 60 days (concussion).
- Josh Diekmann: Indefinite suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct.
