A featherweight bout has been added to WSOF 20 on April 10 as Chris Foster will meet Saul Almeida on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced on Tuesday morning by Foster’s management team.
WSOF 20 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut and will be headlined by middleweight champion David Branch moving up to the light heavyweight division to meet Ronny Markes in a semifinal bout in the promotions 205 pound tournament to crown the inaugural champion.
Foster (8-3) has won four of his last five and is coming off a win in November against Taylor Trahan by TKO in 19 seconds. Five of his eight wins have come by TKO/KO and three of those wins have come in the first round. Almedia (17-5) is currently on a four fight winning streak and one of those wins came at Bellator 110 against Andrew Fisher. His most recent win came in September as he defeated Franklin Isabel by TKO.
