A welterweight bout has been added to UFC 187 fight card on May 23 in Las Vegas as Dong Hyun Kim will meet Josh Burkman.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC 187 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on May 23 and will be headlined by Jon Jones defending the UFC light heavyweight title against Anthony Johnson.
Kim (19-3-1, 1NC) is coming off a defeat to Tyron Woodley at UFC Fight Night 48 and the defeat snapped a four fight winning streak. Since entering the UFC in 2008, he has gone 10-3, 1NC and three of those wins have come by TKO/KO. Burkman (27-11) returned to the UFC at the beginning of this year and was defeated by Hector Lombard. While the bout is current a defeat, the bout will likely be overturned shortly by the Nevada Athletic Commission due to Lombard failing his post fight drug test.
