A lightweight bout has been booked for UFC 188 in Mexico City as Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2 coach Efrain Escudero will meet Drew Dober on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Saturday.
UFC 188 will come from the Mexico City Arena on June 13 and will be headlined by a heavyweight title unification bout as Cain Velasquez meets Fabricio Werdum.
Escudero (23-9) returned to the UFC last year and has gone 1-1 since coming back to the promotion. His last appearance in the octagon came in February as he defeated Rodrigo de Lima by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 60. Dober (15-6, 1NC) entered the UFC in 2013 and has gone 1-2, 1NC in the promotion. At last weekend’s UFC Fight Night 62, his fight against Leandro Silva was ruled a no-contest due to a mistake made by the referee.
