UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is coming off a 14 second submission win at UFC 184 against Cat Zingano and the question that has not been answered at this time by the UFC, who will her next title defense be against?
The two names that UFC President Dana White mentioned at the UFC 184 Post Fight Press Conference was Bethe Correia and Jessica Eye. Both were in attendance at UFC 184 to watch the title fight and both fighters are not currently booked for a fight.
Correia is undefeated and has been two of Rousey’s teammates in the UFC. Her most recent win came in August as she defeated Shayna Baszler by TKO and Eye is coming off a TKO win at UFC 180 as she defeated Leslie Smith.
While many people believe that Correia will get the next title shot, Eye sees it differently. She believes she will be next for Rousey and explains in a video interview done by Rick J Lee why she thinks that she should get the title shot and not Correia.
