Liam McGeary became the fourth light heavyweight champion in Bellator history this past Friday night as he defeated Emanuel Newton in the main event of Bellator 134 in Connecticut.
Prior to the event, McGeary (10-0) was a guest on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani and some people took his comments at the end of an interview that his contract with Bellator was set to expire.
Following his victory over Newton this past Friday night, The MMA Report talked to McGeary about the victory. In the video below, McGeary responds to his current contract situation with Bellator and states that he has no plans of leaving Bellator.
