The co-main event of Invicta FC 12 has been announced by the promotion and it will be a rematch as Ultimate Fighter alum Roxanne Modafferi meets Brazilian Vanessa Porto.
The fight booking was announced by Invicta FC on Monday and in addition, the promotion also announced Faith Van Duin vs. Amanda Bell and Peggy Morgan vs. Latoya Walker.
Invicta FC 12 will come from Kansas City on April 24 and will be headlined by a title fight as Katja Kankaanpää defends the promotions strawweight title against Livia Renata Souza.
Modafferi (17-11) has won back to back fights since her exit from the UFC last year. Back in 2008, she defeated Porto by TKO at FFF 4: Call of the Wild and that is the only TKO/KO victory of her career. Porto (17-6) has also won back to back fights and just like Modafferi, both of her recent wins have come by decision. Her most recent win came in March of last year as she defeated Ana Maria at Fatality Arena 6.
