A heavyweight bout has been officially added to the WSOF 20 fight card on April 10 in Connecticut as Steve Mocco will meet Juliano Coutinho.
The fight booking was confirmed to The MMA Report by the promotion following a report by Mass MMA.
WSOF 20 will come from the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut and will be headlined by middleweight champion David Branch moving up to the light heavyweight division to meet Ronny Markes in a semifinal bout in the promotions 205 pound tournament to crown the inaugural champion.
Mocco (4-1) lost his WSOF debut last year as he lost a decision to the current WSOF heavyweight champion Smealinho Rama. Prior to that fight, three of his four wins came by submission and they came by kimura, north-south choke, and arm-triangle choke. Coutinho (6-1) has won six in a row since losing his pro debut in 2009. His most recent win came in January of last year as he defeated John Orr by submission.
