A featherweight bout is now official for June’s UFC Fight Night 69 in Germany as Dennis Siver will meet Tatsuya Kawajiri in a bout likely to be on the main card.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Friday.
UFC Fight Night 69 will come from the O2 World Berlin and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Alexander Gustafsson meets Glover Teixeira.
Siver (22-10, 1NC) has gone 3-2, 1NC since dropping down to featherweight in 2012 and he was defeated in January by Conor McGregor. All of his wins as a featherweight have come by unanimous decision and his last victory came at UFC Fight Night 53 against Charles Rosa.
Kawajiri (33-8-2) made his UFC debut at the beginning of 2014 and defeated Sean Soriano by technical submission. It was his sixth straight victory and his winning streak was snapped three months later as he lost a decision to Clay Guida at UFC Fight Night 39.
