Former Bellator featherweight tournament semifinalist Matt Bessette will return to action on June 12th at CES MMA 29 in Rhode Island as he will meet Lazar Stojadinovic.
The fight booking was announced on Wednesday by CES MMA.
CES MMA 29 will come from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island and will be headlined by Chuck O’Neil defending the CES MMA welterweight title against Dominique Steele.
Bessette (14-6) is coming off a win against Josh LaVerge at Bellator 134 in February and his contract expired with Bellator after that fight. He has won six of his last eight fights and four of those wins came in Bellator.
Stojadinovic (9-5) has won five in a row and three of his last four wins have come by stoppage in the first round. His most recent victory came in June of last year as he defeated Giorgos Papouasvili by guillotine choke submission.
