A bantamweight bout has been booked for UFC Fight Night 68 on June 6 in New Orleans as Francisco Rivera will meet Ultimate Fighter alum Alex Caceres.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC Fight Night 68 will come from the Smoothie King Center on June 6 and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as former title challenger Daniel Cormier meets Ryan Bader.
Rivera (10-4, 1NC) will enter this fight with back to back defeats and the most recent defeat came in December against Urijah Faber. Prior to those defeats, he was unbeaten in his previous six fights and he is 3-3, 1NC in the UFC. Caceres (10-7, 1NC) has also lost back to back fights and he is coming off a decision defeat to Mananori Kanehara at UFC Fight Night 52. Since dropping to bantamweight, he is 5-3, 1NC and has won three fight night bonuses.
