The main event of UFC Fight Night 71 in San Diego on July 15 is now set as former heavyweight champion Frank Mir will meet Todd Duffee.
The UFC announced the fight booking on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 71 will come from the Valley View Casino Center and ticket information will be released shortly by the UFC.
Mir (17-9) snapped a four fight losing streak in February as he defeated Antonio Silva by knockout at UFC Fight Night 61. It was his first victory since 2011, which was a technical submission victory against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Duffee (9-2) returned to the UFC in 2012 and will enter this fight on a three fight winning streak. He returned to the octagon late last year after being away for nearly two years and defeated Anthony Hamilton by knockout in 33 seconds.
