Former Invicta atomweight champion Michelle Waterson signed with the UFC this week and she will make her promotional debut at The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale in July against Ultimate Fighter alum Angela Magana.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on late Wednesday evening.
The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale will take place on July 12 at a South Florida venue and is expected to be headlined by former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson meeting Michael Johnson.
Waterson (12-4) won the Invicta FC 105 pound title in 2013 when she defeated Jessica Penne by armbar submission. She successfully defended the title against Yasuko Tamada in 2014 and she lost the title at the end of last year when she was submitted by Herica Tiburcio. Magana (11-7) lost her official UFC debut against Tecia Torres last year and she is currently on a three fight losing streak. Her last win came in 2011 when she defeated Avery Vilche by submission.
