A rumored featherweight bout is now official for UFC Fight Night 69 on June 20 in Berlin, Germany as Niklas Backstrom will meet Noah Lahat.
The fight booking was made official by the UFC on Friday.
UFC Fight Night 69 will come from the O2 World Berlin and will be headlined by a light heavyweight bout as Alexander Gustafsson meets Glover Teixeira.
Backstrom (8-1, 1NC) signed with the UFC last year and won his debut against Tom Niinimaki at UFC Fight Night 41. He returned to the octagon four months later at UFC Fight Night 53 and was defeated by Mike Wilkinson. Lahat (8-1) also made his UFC debut last year and lost to Godofredo Castro at UFC Fight Night 38. He would come back at UFC on FOX 12 and he defeated Steven Siler by decision.
