After having four fights in the UFC flyweight division, Scott Jorgensen is retuning to bantamweight in July as he will meet Manny Gamburyan at UFC Fight Night 71.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC today.
UFC Fight Night 71 will come from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California on July 15 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC champion Frank Mir meets Todd Duffee.
Jorgensen (15-10) went 1-3 in the UFC flyweight division and miss weight for his last fight at UFC 179 against Wilson Reis. He was defeated by Reis at UFC 179 by submission and his only victory as a flyweight came against Danny Martinez. Gamburyan (14-8, 1NC) made his UFC bantamweight debut last year as he defeated Cody Gibson by submission. The victory over Gibson snapped a two fight winless streak and was his first stoppage win since 2010.
