The UFC 186 Preliminary Card on Fox Sports 1 took place this past Saturday in Montreal and featured Patrick Cote defeating Joe Riggs by unanimous decision.
According to Nielsen sources, the UFC 186 preliminary overnight viewership number for the prelims landed at 710,000 viewers and peaked at 846,000 total viewers in the 9:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. ET quarter hour.
Prior to the televised preliminary card, the pre-fight show also aired on Fox Sports 1 and came in with 322,00 viewers.
When it comes to the sport competition on Saturday, the night was won by NBA playoff games on TNT and ESPN. The UFC prelims went up against the Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans game on ESPN that delivered 3.086 million viewers and a 1.3 ratings in the Adult 18-49 demographic.
The UFC 186 prelims was the most watched show on Fox Sports 1 on Saturday as the number two show was the MLB game between the New York Mets and the New York Yankees. That game came in with 647,000 viewers and the UFC drew better than the NHL playoff game on NBCSN (444,000) that began at 8:51 p.m. ET.
