A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC 189 fight card on July 11 in Las Vegas as Cody Pfister will meet Yosdenis Cedeno on the preliminary card.
The fight was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC 189 will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena and will be headlined by a title fight as Jose Aldo defends the featherweight title against Conor McGregor.
Pfister (11-4-1) lost his UFC debut in February as he was submitted by James Moontasri. The defeat snapped an eight fight unbeaten streak and seven of his career wins have come by stoppage. Cedeno (10-4) has dropped two of his three fights in the UFC. He is coming off a decision defeat against Chad Laprise and both of his UFC defeats have come by decision.
