The third episode of The Ultimate Fighter 21 debuted last night on Fox Sports 1 and featured Valdir Araujo defeating Steve Carl by submission.
According to Nielson sources, the preliminary viewership for the show came in at 364,000 viewers. The viewership has declined every week for the show and last night’s viewership is down nearly 20 percent from last week’s live viewership rating of 454,000 viewers.
When it came to the competition last night, the night was dominated by the NBA playoff games on TNT. The Ultimate Fighter 21 went up against the Western Conference playoff game between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Houston Rockets. That game drew an average audience of 4.729 million viewers and the earlier playoff game had 4.149 million viewers.
