The main event of UFC 187 on Saturday night was a title fight as Daniel Cormier won the vacant light heavyweight title with a 3rd round submission victory over Anthony Johnson.
Cormier weathered an early story of strikes from Johnson and used his grappling to claim the vacant 205 pound title.
