The latest fight booking to the UFC Fight Night 71 event in San Diego on July 15 is a light heavyweight bout as Kevin Casey returns from suspension and meets Ildemar Alcantara.
UFC officials announced the fight earlier today.
UFC Fight Night 71 will come from the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California on July 15 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as former UFC champion Frank Mir meets Todd Duffee.
Casey (8-3, 1NC) is unbeaten in his last four fights and his last fight at UFC 175 was changed to a no-contest when he failed his post fight drug test. On that night, he defeated Bubba Bush by TKO and tested positive for drostanolone after the fight. Alcantara (21-7) has won four of his six fights in the UFC. He is coming off a decision win against Richardson Moreira at UFC 183 and three of his four UFC wins are by decision.
