The UFC Fight Night 70 event will no longer be taking place in Brazil as the fight card has been moved to Florida and the card will be headlined by Lyoto Machida meeting Yoel Romero in a middleweight bout.
The venue change and fight booking was announced by the UFC on Friday morning.
UFC Fight Night 70 will come from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida and tickets for the event will go on sale Monday.
Machida (22-6) is coming off a submission defeat last month against Luke Rockhold and he is 2-2 since dropping to middleweight. He is 5-3 in his last eight fights and his wins at middleweight have come against C.B. Dollaway and Gegard Mousasi. Romero (9-1) is currently on a five fight winning streak and all of those wins have come in the UFC. His most recent win came in September as he defeated Tim Kennedy by TKO.
