The main event of UFC Fight Night in Nashville on August 8 will be a light heavyweight bout as former University of Tennessee football player Ovince St. Preux looks to continue his rise up the 205 pound rankings as he meets former title challenger Glover Teixeira.
The fight booking was announced on UFC Tonight on Wednesday.
UFC Fight Night 73 will come from the Bridgestone Arena and ticket information is expected to be announced shortly by the promotion.
St. Preux (16-8) has won six of his seven fights in the UFC and has won his last two fights. His most recent win came in April as he defeated Patrick Cummins by TKO at UFC on FOX 15. Teixeira (22-4) has dropped two straight fights after winning twenty straight fights. This will be his first fight since UFC 179 last year when Phil Davis defeated him by decision.
