  1. Were you suprised how fast Bellator signed Melvin Guillard considering his issues in the past?

    What do you think about the Straus/Corrales matchup? Too much too soon for Corrales?

    What do you think about the Reebok deal? I was a little bit shocked that the payout numbers were so low.

    Could this deal and the backlash it received, finally lead to a fighters union?

    Where would you rank 138 as far as their tent poles? I think this is Bellator’s 7th tent pole on Spike TV: 85/ 97/ 106 /123 /131/ 134/ 138.

    Are you gonna watch or record Glory 21? 2 former Bellator fighters will be on the main card: Justin Baesman and Maurice Jackson. Maurice Jackson is 2-1-3 in MMA with 3 NC’s lol.

    What was your favorite memories of Stikeforce? Mine was the SF hw World Grand Prix and Fedor’s debut vs Rogers.

    Stikeforce would’ve been still around if Scott had partners that were invested in MMA and loved/ had passion for it like he did. That’s a lesson he learned, be careful who you do business with.

    Do you think if Bellator folds or is for sale that Scott would have an investor ready to buy it or start a different MMA promotion. I ask bc he said before he talked to Kevin Kay he was gonna start another promotion with a big backer, someone that wouldn’t sell it like the backers of Strikeforce did.

  4. Do you think UFC releases Gonzaga or gives him another fight? I think they won’t bc they don’t want him to go to Bellator. Cause we all know Bellator would definitely sign him.

          One last thing Jason. You always say there’s not much of a difference under Scott Coker, but I disagree. Managers and fighters hated Bjorn. But with Coker most ppl love, respect, and have a good relationship with him. He is a fighters kind of guy and won’t screw you over.

        2. Ppl in the UFC are locked in for life with them. UFC never releases them. Nate Diaz/ Cung Le/ Wandy they all want to be free, but UFC won’t let them go. Also UFC keeps re signing guys over and over again times 10 so they don’t go anywhere else especially Bellator.

        3. Bellator didn’t force anybody to sign with them EITHER.. Stop being pro UFC Jason.

        4. Maybe ppl shouldn’t of signed their Bellator deals. It’s not Bellator’s fault you signed the damn contract.

        5. As I said on the show, as an independent contractor, you know what you are signing. You can not complain about your contract after you sign it. MMA contracts are not the best contracts, no matter what the promotion is. At the end of the day, when you signed the contract, you are agreeing to all of the terms.

        6. That’s what I’m saying Jason. Fighters always complain about the promotions contracts after they signed it. But as you said before haven’t you done something and later regret it. It’s just like that. That’s kinda of like what happened with Rampage/ Bellator.

      1. The one where I said I mentioned the Bellator fights on future tent pole event, not at MSG. Anyway that’s not a big deal. But a lot of other times you skip and I think it’s bc you don’t wanna read it. Like sometimes when I ask ?’s on the Insiders podcast to Caplan you skip them. I can’t talk to him on Twitter or FB bc he blocked me. Wtv bro it’s not that big of a deal.

    1. Which article? If you are talking about the Lorenzo Fertitta piece, I read a quote from that article prior to the interview with Halsey.

  9. LMFAO Dante Fowler just got injured in rookie mini camp! Who do you think is better Gurley or Gordon? I think Gordon is a monster. This guy reminds me of Lynch (aka beast mode)

    1. I just saw that on Fowler. He is from the Tampa Bay area. Actually called one of his high school games. Was a special player. On RB’s, I prefer Gurley.

      1. That really sucks getting injured on 1st day of rookie mini camp. He and his family must be devastated. If it weren’t for Gurely’s acl injury I’d be fine with the pick. I’m just scared he’ll re injure it like Bradford did.

        1. Btw do you say was a special player bc he just tore his acl and won’t be the same ever again?

        2. I said that in reference to calling one of his games in high school. I could see how talented he was as a high school player. Only got better in college. I recently read that if someone suffers a Torn ACL, they have a 25% chance of tearing it again.

  10. What do you think of JDS saying MMA is bigger than boxing? I don’t agree. Also what do you think of Jerry Lawler saying WWE stars outshine the stars of the UFC in popularity? I completely agree bc WWE is way more popular than the UFC and their athletes are known worldwide.

    2. I saw the headline of that story. What MMA has going for them and boxing does not is the age demographics. MMA audience is 10 years younger than boxing audience

    3. Something to note about WWE popularity is how they get a younger audience than MMA

  11. The UFC attendances they announce are not correct. I say that bc the ones they announce are including the free tickets given out. Also I think the UFC PPV buys aren’t accurate.
