A middleweight bout between former Ultimate Fighter winners is set for UFC Fight Night 70 in Hollywood, Florida as Eddie Gordon will meet Antonio Carlos Junior.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Tuesday.
UFC Fight Night 70 will come from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida on June 27 and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as former UFC champion Lyoto Machida meets Yoel Romero.
Carlos Junior (4-1) is dropping down to the middleweight division after winning The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 as a heavyweight and losing a light heavyweight fight to Patrick Cummins. Both of his fights in the UFC have gone the distance and this will be his first fight to take place outside of Brazil. Gordon (7-3) has dropped back to back fights after winning The Ultimate Fighter 19 last year. His most recent defeat came in April as he lost a split decision against Chris Dempsey.
