An undisclosed injury has forced Chino Duran to pull out of his CES MMA 29 bout against Dinis Paiva and stepping up on short notice to replace Duran will be Bruno Marques.
The fight change was announced by CES MMA on Friday.
CES MMA 29 will come from the Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island on June 12 and will be headlined by a title fight as Chuck O’Neil defends the welterweight title against Dominique Steele.
Marques (7-5-1) will be making his CES MMA debut and he is 3-3 in his last six fights. Five of his seven wins have come by TKO/KO and he enters this fight following a decision defeat in December. Pavia (6-5) is currently on a three fight winning streak and all of his professional fights have come in CES MMA. His most recent win came in January as he defeated Matt Doherty by knockout in ten seconds.
