Demetrious Johnson has an opponent for his next UFC flyweight title defense and it will be a rematch against John Dodson at a date to be determined.
UFC President Dana White informed Ariel Helwani of Fox Sports of the fight booking and he reported the fight on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight.
The first meeting between Johnson and Dodson came at the beginning of 2013 and Johnson won by unanimous decision. Since their first meeting, both fighters are undefeated and Johnson has made five successful title defenses.
Johnson recently stated that he would like to fight next at UFC 191, which is set for September 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
