A flyweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 73 card on August 8 in Nashville, Tennessee as Dustin Ortiz will meet Ian McCall in a rematch of a 2011 bout in Tachi Palace Fights.
The UFC has confirmed the fight booking after it was reported by earlier today by The Tennessean.
UFC Fight Night 73 will come from the Bridgestone Arena on August 8 and will be headlined by former title challenger Glover Teixeira meeting Ovince Saint Preux meeting in a battle of top ten UFC light heavyweights.
Ortiz (14-4) has gone 3-2 in the UFC and he will enter this fight following a defeat against Joseph Benavidez. Two of his three wins in the UFC have come by split decision and all of his fights in the UFC have made it to the third round. McCall (13-5-1) will also enter this fight following a defeat as he lost to John Lineker in January. He is 2-3-1 in the UFC and he defeated Ortiz by unanimous decision at Tachi Palace Fights 9 in their first meeting.
