The eighth episode of The Ultimate Fighter 21 debuted last night on Fox Sports 1 and featured American Top Team’s Hayder Hassan improving to 2-0 in the competition with a win over Felipe Portela of the Blackzilians.
According to Nielson sources, the preliminary viewership for the show came in at 425,000 viewers and this is the fourth straight week that the reality show has seen increased viewership. Also, this is the best viewership for the show since episode two drew 454,000 viewers in the preliminary ratings.
When it came to the competition last night, the night was won by Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Tampa Bay Lightning on NBCSN. The game drew an average audience of 3.9 million viewers and had an overnight rating of 2.9.
