A bantamweight bout has been added to next month’s UFC Fight Night 72 card in Scotland as Marcus Brimage will meet Ian Entwistle on the preliminary card.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Tuesday morning.
UFC Fight Night 72 will come from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on July 18 and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Michael Bisping meets Thales Leites.
Brimage (7-4) will enter this fight following a defeat to Cody Garbrandt at UFC 182. He has dropped three of his last four fights and has gone 1-2 in the UFC bantamweight division. Entwistle (9-2) has gone 1-1 in the UFC and is coming off a heel hook submission victory against Anthony Birchak. Seven of his nine wins are by submission and three of those wins have come by heel hook.
