A featherweight bout has been added to The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale on July 12 in Las Vegas as Maximo Blanco will meet Mike De La Torre and the fight will likely be on the televised preliminary card.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday.
The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale will come from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on July 12 and will be headlined by a welterweight bout as Jake Ellenberger meets Stephen Thompson.
Blanco (11-6-1, 1NC) has won back to back fights after starting 1-2 in the UFC. His most recent win came in September of last year as he defeated Dan Hooker by decision at UFC Fight Night 52. Torre (13-4, 1NC) made his UFC debut last year and is 1-1, 1NC in the promotion. He is coming off a TKO win against Tiago Trator and twelve of his wins have come by stoppage.
