A bantamweight bout has been reportedly booked for UFC 190 on August 1 in Brazil as Iuri Alcantara will face Leandro Issa on the preliminary card.
The fight booking was initially reported by Combate and the UFC has not announced the fight booking at this time.
UFC 190 will come from the HSBC Arena on August 1st and will be headlined by Ronda Rousey defending the UFC women’s bantamweight title against Bethe Correia.
Alcantara (31-6, 1NC) is currently #12 in the UFC bantamweight rankings and is 4-2, 1NC in the UFC 135 pound division. He will enter this fight following a decision defeat in February against Frankie Saenz and this snapped a three fight winning streak. Issa (13-4) has won back to back fights since losing his UFC debut to Russell Doane. His most recent win came in December as he submitted Yuta Sasaki.
