Next month’s UFC on FOX 16 fight card has seen a change to one of the fights scheduled to be on the main card as Myles Jury is out of the event due to an undisclosed injury and stepping up to meet Edson Barboza will be Paul Felder.
The fight change was reported by MMA Sucka on Monday evening and the UFC confirmed the change to The MMA Report on Tuesday afternoon.
UFC on FOX 16 will come from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on July 25 and will be headlined a title rematch as T.J. Dillashaw defends the bantamweight title against former champion Renan Barao.
Felder (10-0) made his UFC debut last year and has gone 2-0 in the promotion. After winning his debut against Jason Saggo at UFC Fight Night 54, he returned at UFC 182 in January and defeated Danny Castillo by knockout in the second round. Barboza (15-3) is coming off a decision defeat against Michael Johnson in February and is 2-2 in his last four fights. Since entering the UFC in 2010, he has nine wins and four of those have come by TKO/KO.
