A lightweight bout has been added to the UFC Fight Night 73 card in Nashville on August 8 as Scott Holtzman will make his UFC debut against Anthony Christodoulou.
The UFC confirmed the fight booking with The MMA Report today after it was initially reported by the Knoxville News Sentinel.
UFC Fight Night 73 will come from the Bridgestone Arena on August 8 and will be headlined by Ovince St. Preux meeting Glover Teixeira in a battle of top ten UFC light heavyweights.
Holtzman (7-0) was signed by the UFC last year after he was released from his contract with the XFC. Four of his seven wins have come by stoppage and three of those wins are by TKO/KO. Christodoulou (12-5) lost his UFC debut at the beginning of the year when he was defeated by Mairbek Taisumov. The defeat snapped a seven fight winning streak and eight of his career victories are by stoppage.
