The final bout for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 70 has been announced as Sirwan Kakai has signed with the UFC and will meet Danny Martinez in a bantamweight bout.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Monday.
UFC Fight Night 70 will come from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida on Saturday and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as former UFC champion Lyoto Machida meets Yoel Romero.
Kakai (11-2) has won back to back fights and his most recent win came at Titan FC 31 against Joseph Barajas. He was currently under contract with Titan FC and the promotion let him out of his deal to sign with the UFC. Martinez (16-6) is moving up to the bantamweight division after going 0-2 in the UFC flyweight division. Both of those defeats came by decision and this will be his first fight since losing to Scott Jorgensen twelve months ago.
