A heavyweight bout has been booked for the UFC Fight Night card in Nashville on August 8 as Tim Johnson will meet Jared Rosholt. 
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on early Thursday evening.
UFC Fight Night 73 will come from the Bridgestone Arena on August 8 and will be headlined by Ovince St. Preux meeting Glover Teixeira in a battle of top ten UFC light heavyweights.
Johnson (9-1) won his UFC debut in April as he defeated Shamil Abdurakhimov by TKO at UFC Fight Night 63. It was his fifth career win by TKO/KO and all of his wins have come by stoppage. Rosholt (12-2) has won four of his five fights in the UFC and is coming off a TKO win against Josh Copeland at UFC 185. Seven of his wins have come by stoppage and four of those have come by TKO/KO.
