Bellator 140 Medical Suspensions: Douglas Lima receives indefinite suspension due to knee strain

The medical suspensions for Bellator 140 have been released by the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation and Douglas Lima is facing an indefinite suspension for a knee strain.

Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation Director Mike Mazzulli released the suspensions to The MMA Report on Tuesday after they were requested.

Bellator 140 took place this past Friday evening at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut and was headlined by Andrey Koreshkov defeating Lima by decision to win the welterweight title.

The complete Bellator 140 medical suspensions are below:

  • Douglas Lima: Suspended indefinitely for knee strain and needs orthopedic clearance.
  • Dennis Olson: Suspended 45 days for concussion.
  • Rudy Bears: Suspended 30 days for concussion.
  • Roger Carroll: Suspended 120 days for severe concussion and needs MRI from nuro.
  • Paul Bradley: Suspended 45 days for laceration.
  • Alex Dunworth: Suspended 60 days for nasal fracture, ENT needs clearance.
  • Sarah Payant: Suspended 30 days for shoulder strain.
  • Kin Moy: Suspended 45 days for laceration.
  • Ilya Kotau: Suspended 45 days for laceration.
