The out-of-competition drug test results for this week’s Bellator 140 have come back and all of the drug tests came back negative.
The Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulations Director Mike Mazzulli confirmed the drug test results to The MMA Report on Monday and stated the fighters were tested for steroids and other illegal substances.
Bellator 140 will come from the Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday night and will be headlined by a title fight as Douglas Lima defends the Bellator welterweight title against Andrey Koreshkov.
Mazzulli confirmed that both fighters in the main event title fight took part in the out-of-competition drug testing, along with other random fighters on the card. In addition to the out-of-competition testing, fighters on the card will be subject to testing on Friday night.
