An undisclosed injury has forced Bec Rawlings to pull out of her UFC Fight Night 72 bout against Joanne Calderwood and stepping up to replace Rawlings on eight days notice will be UFC newcomer Cortney Casey-Sanchez.
The fight change was announced by the UFC on early Friday morning.
UFC Fight Night 72 will come from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland on July 18 and will be headlined by a middleweight bout as Michael Bisping meets Thales Leites.
Casey-Sanchez (4-1) enters the UFC on a three fight winning streak and all of her wins have come by stoppage in the first round. Her most recent win came in March as she defeated Helen Harper by TKO at Pacific Xtreme Combat 47. Calderwood (9-1) is coming off her first career defeat as she was submitted by Maryna Moroz at UFC Fight Night 64. She is 1-1 in the UFC and four of her career wins have come by TKO/KO.
