The main event of UFC 192 on October 3 in Houston, Texas is now official as Daniel Cormier will defend the light heavyweight title against Alexander Gustafsson. 
The fight booking was announced by the UFC during the main card broadcast of UFC Fight Night 72 today.
UFC 192: Cormier vs. Gustafsson will come from the Toyota Center and tickets will go on sale July 31.
Cormier (16-1) defeated Anthony Johnson in the main event of UFC 187 to win the vacant UFC light heavyweight title. He submitted Johnson in the third round and his last two wins have come by submission. Gustafsson (16-3) is coming off a knockout defeat at UFC on FOX 14 against Johnson. He is 1-2 in his last three fights and the only victory in his last three fights came against Jimi Manuwa.
