Rodrigo Almeida has pulled out of his Bellator 140 bout against Blair Tugman due to undisclosed reasons and stepping up on short notice to face Tugman will be Kin Moy.
The fight change was confirmed to The MMA Report by Bellator on Friday.
Bellator 140 will come from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut next Friday night and will be headlined by a title fight as Douglas Lima defends the welterweight title against Andrey Koreshkov.
Moy (6-2) made his Bellator debut last year and lost a split decision to Steve Garcia. Since that fight, he is 1-1 and enters this fight following a TKO defeat at CES MMA 28 against Joey Gomez. Tugman (7-5) has won back to back fights and both of those fights came in Bellator. His most recent win came in February as he defeated Marvin Maldonado by unanimous decision.
