The Invicta FC strawweight title will be on the line in the main event of Invicta FC 14 on September 12 in Kansas City as Livia Renata Souza will defend the 115 pound title against Alexa Grasso.
The fight booking was announced by Invicta FC on Thursday night during the Invicta FC 13 broadcast on UFC Fight Pass.
Souza (8-0) won the Invicta FC title in April when she submitted Katja Kankaanpaa to claim the vacant title. Seven of her eight wins have come by submission and five of those victories have come in the first round. Grasso (7-0) made her Invicta FC debut last year and has gone 3-0 in the promotion. Her last win came in February as she defeated Mizuki Inoue by unanimous decision.
