A lightweight bout has been booked for UFC Fight Night 77 in Japan as Naoyuki Kotani will look for his first victory in the UFC as he meets Ultimate Fighter alum Kajan Johnson.
The fight booking was announced by the UFC on Thursday.
UFC Fight Night 77 will come from the Saitama Super Arena on September 27 and will be headlined by a heavyweight bout as Roy Nelson meets Josh Barnett.
Kotani (33-12-7) has lost both of his fights in the UFC and both came by stoppage in the second round. His most recent defeat came in October of last year as he was submitted by Yan Cabral at UFC 179. Johnson (20-11-1) scored his first victory in the UFC back in May as he defeated Lipeng Zhang by unanimous decision. He is 8-2 in his last ten fights and six of those wins have come by stoppage.
