Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans will be returning from injury in October when he meets Ryan Bader at UFC 192 in Houston.
UFC President Dana White announced the fight booking on today’s edition of UFC Tonight on FOX Sports 1.
UFC 192 will come from the Toyota Center on October 3 in Houston, Texas and the main event for this fight card is expected to be announced shortly.
Evans (19-3-1) has been out of action due to a knee injury and his last fight came in November of 2013 when he defeated Chael Sonnen. He will enter this fight with two straight victories and is 6-2 in his last eight fights. Bader (19-4) is currently on a four fight winning streak and his most recent win came in January when he defeated Phil Davis. During his current winning streak, all of the wins have come by decision.
