The medical suspensions for The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale have been released by the Nevada Athletic Commission and six fighters on the card are facing a potential six month suspension.
The commission released the medical suspensions on Monday and the suspensions were forwarded to TheMMAReport.com after they were requested.
The Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale took place last night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and was headlined by Stephen Thompson defeating Jake Ellenberger by knockout in the first round.
The complete Ultimate Fighter 21 Finale medical suspensions are below:
- Stephen Thompson: Must have right heel x-rayed if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 01/12/16; Minimum suspension and no contest until 08/12/15 – no contact until 08/03/15
- Jake Ellenberger: Suspended until 08/27/15 and no contact until 08/12/15 (lacerations)
- Kamaru Usman: Must have left rib cage x-ray to rule out fracture & left knee evaluated if either positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 01/12/16 – minimum suspension and no contest until 08/12/15 – no contact until 08/03/15
- Hayder Hassan: Suspended until 08/12/15 and no contact until 08/03/15
- Vicente Luque: Must have right hand 3rd metacarpal x-rayed if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 01/12/16 – minimum suspension and no contest until 08/12/15 – no contact until 08/03/15
- Cezar Ferreira: Suspended until 08/27/15 and no contact until 08/12/15
- George Sullivan: Suspended until 08/12/15 and no contact until 08/03/15 (forehead laceration)
- Dominic Waters: Suspended until 08/12/15 and no contact until 08/03/15 (left eyebrow laceration)
- Caio Magalhaes: Must have nose x-rayed if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 01/12/16 – minimum suspension and no contest until 08/27/15 – no contact until 08/12/15
- Michelle Waterson: Must have right hand x-rayed if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 01/12/16 – minimum suspension and no contest until 08/12/15 – no contact until 08/03/15
- Angela Magana: Suspended until 08/12/15 and no contact until 08/03/15
- Trevor Smith: Must have left hand 2nd x-rayed if positive then must be cleared by Dr or no contest until 01/12/16
- Dan Miller: Must have nasal fracture cleared by a Dr. or no contest until 01/12/16.
- Darrell Montague: Suspended until 08/12/15 and No contact until 08/03/15 (lip laceration)
- Mike De La Torre: Suspended until 08/27/15 and no contact until 08/03/15
