Bantamweight Timur Valiev has re-signed with the WSOF as he has signed a new multi-fight, multi-year agreement with the Las Vegas based promotion.
The re-signing of Valiev was announced by the promotion in a press release on Monday.
Valiev (9-1) made his WSOF last year and has gone 3-0 in the promotion. Two of his three wins in the promotion have come by TKO and he is coming off a first round TKO victory over Ed West at WSOF 19.
“We are thrilled to extend our agreement with Timur Valiev, one of the brightest, young prospects and most exciting rising stars in our entire sport,” said WSOF President Ray Sefo.
Valiev’s next fight in the WSOF is expected to be announced shortly by the promotion.
