A matchup of Ultimate Fighter alums has been added to the UFC 193 card in November as Ultimate Fighter Nations Brendan O’Reilly will meet Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2 finalist William Macario.
UFC officials announced the fight booking on Monday.
UFC 193 will take place on November 15 (airs live on pay-per-view on November 14) from the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia and will be headlined by a title fight as Robbie Lawler defends the welterweight title against Carlos Condit.
O’Reilly (6-1, 1NC) lost his official UFC debut last year against Lipeng Zhang at UFC Fight Night 48 and is coming off a decision win in May against Vik Grujic at UFC Fight Night 65. Three of his six wins have come by stoppage and two of those are by submission. Macario (7-3) has dropped three of his four fights in the UFC and all three defeats have come by finish.
