Heavyweight Lorenzo Hood was scheduled to make his Bellator debut tonight against Raphael Butler on the main card, but an injury suffered by Hood during his warmup has canceled the bout.
Bellator announced the cancelation of the fight prior to the beginning of the online preliminary card tonight.
According to a report by MMA Fighting, both Hood and Butler will be paid their show money for the fight and neither fighter will receive their win bonus money.
With Hood vs. Butler off the card, the women’s featherweight bout between Marloes Coenen and Arlene Blencowe has been elevated to the main card broadcast on Spike TV.
